Oryx Impact is a US$250 million impact fund-of-funds addressing Africa’s SME financing gap. By mobilising private capital at scale, it invests in local VC, PE, and private debt funds that drive job creation, gender equality, and sustainable, inclusive growth.

Through this ecosystem-building approach, Oryx Impact strengthens the capacity of local fund managers and contributes to the development of robust impact investment markets in Africa. Its investments target sectors critical to the continent’s just and green transition, supporting businesses that create livelihoods, advance economic resilience, and promote gender inclusion.

Oryx Impact’s fund-of-funds enables diversification and risk mitigation while channeling capital toward under-financed segments of the real economy. The Fund targets attractive, risk-adjusted returns and leverages a Technical Assistance Facility to strengthen digitalisation, enhance impact performance, and build the operational resilience of its portfolio funds and investees.

With the ISFA programme, Oryx Impact amplifies its catalytic role by attracting new investors, accelerating a self-sustaining, inclusive investment ecosystem that addresses structural challenges, including forced migration, while generating lasting social, environmental, and economic impact.
