PandanGreen is a climate-finance securitisation vehicle established by experienced professionals in climate finance, capital markets, financial inclusion and impact investing. Competitively selected as part of the 2020 cohort of the International Climate Finance Accelerator (ICFA) Luxembourg, PandanGreen is developing an innovative green capital markets programme designed to mobilise institutional investment towards climate adaptation, resilience and sustainable development across Asia and the Pacific.

Climate change is increasingly affecting vulnerable communities throughout developing countries, resulting in more frequent and severe extreme weather events, declining agricultural productivity, growing water stress, energy insecurity and heightened economic vulnerability. Women, smallholder farmers, micro and small enterprises and rural communities are often among the most exposed to these impacts while having the least access to finance needed to adapt and build resilience.

PandanGreen seeks to provide a blueprint for bridging this gap by the issuance of US$750 million green bond programme, commencing with PandanGreen Bond I, a US$150 million issuance to be listed on the Luxembourg Green Exchange (LGX) in September 2026. The programme channels institutional capital through selected Inclusive Financial Institutions (IFIs), enabling them to expand financing for climate adaptation and resilience solutions targeting underserved communities in developing countries, Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) across the Asia-Pacific region.

Through participating IFIs, financing supports the adoption of climate-smart technologies, sustainable agricultural practices, renewable energy solutions, water-management systems and other climate-resilience investments aligned with countries’ National Adaptation Plans (NAPs), Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and broader sustainable development priorities.

In addition to mobilising capital, PandanGreen works closely with partner IFIs through its PTA4C (PandanGreen Transition Assessment for Change) methodology, helping strengthen green finance capabilities, climate governance, impact management systems and readiness to access green capital markets. The objective is not only to finance climate solutions today, but also to help build a stronger pipeline of climate-ready financial institutions capable of attracting long-term private investment.

PandanGreen is supported by a multidisciplinary team and advisory network bringing expertise in climate finance, sustainable finance, financial inclusion, impact measurement, gender equality, capital markets and development finance, ensuring that environmental impact is delivered alongside strong social and gender outcomes.
