Developed over more than six months as a collaboration between Accelerating Impact (formerly: ICFA) and LuxFLAG, our framework aims to support the growth of social finance by providing a clear and structured approach to social impact investing. Our framework defines social impact investing, outlines its core elements, includes a non-exhaustive list of eligible social activities, and provides an overview of potential exclusions and minimum safeguards.
Accelerating Impact and LuxFLAG have created a comprehensive research paper to explain the foundational elements of our framework under a Creative Commons license: free to use and open to further enhancement.
