Meet Víctor – Our New Programmes Coordinator!
Víctor brings a multidisciplinary background spanning innovative finance, development policy, and project delivery across different contexts. He has supported UN innovative finance initiatives focused on health and gender in Africa. In parallel, he has delivered policy focused desk research and supported the identification of bankable projects in social sectors such as education, social protection, climate action, and job creation.
Alongside his multilateral work, Víctor has worked in the private sector on analytical reporting, proposal development, budgeting, and performance monitoring for SDG aligned projects, helping mobilize funding for sustainability and environmental initiatives.
Víctor holds a Master’s Degree in International Security, with a broad focus on global risks including climate, economic, and political dynamics. He is particularly motivated by the role of innovative and blended finance in addressing financing gaps amid declining ODA, and by supporting fund managers in translating emerging trends, technologies, and policy shifts into scalable impact across social and climate sectors, particularly in emerging markets and underserved regions and populations.
